Write to licence@affidavi.ca. You will hear back by the next business day. It helps to include:

the build number (in the app: Settings → About);
your operating system (macOS or Windows, and the version);
what you dropped in, what you expected, and what happened instead.

From inside the app

Help → Contact support or Report a problem opens an email that already carries the build number, your operating system and the last message from the document engine — and nothing else. It never attaches one of your documents. If a problem needs a file to reproduce, we will ask; redact it first, or reproduce it with a test document.

Licence and billing

ComputersSolo runs on 2 computers; Firm on up to 5 at once. Moving to a new computer: sign out of the old one in Settings and activate the new one with the same key. RenewalsPlans renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. Cancel any time and keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. RefundsThe 14-day free trial is the refund. Annual plans can be refunded within 14 days of the first charge; monthly plans are not refunded. Full terms on the refunds page. MerchantLemon Squeezy is the merchant of record: it bills you, issues the receipt and handles tax. Lapsed?If a subscription ends, the app locks but nothing is deleted — every PDF and Word file you made is an ordinary file in your own folders. Renew and activate to continue.

Common questions

The app says OCR or Word conversion is unavailable. Affidavi does not bundle Tesseract (OCR) or LibreOffice (Word conversion); install either and the readiness rows in Settings → About turn green. PDFs with a text layer need neither.

A result came back "set aside" or "could not be verified". That is the app refusing to hand you a file it could not prove correct — a page count that did not reconcile, or a redaction whose output still carried the value. The message names the reason; the clean file was never written under the finished name.

Where did the output go? Beside the document you dropped, or in the matter's folder if you opened a matter first. Every result card has a "Show in folder" button.

Privacy of support

Support requests are handled by email in Google Workspace and kept only as long as the conversation needs. We do not ask for client documents, and the app never sends one. The privacy notice covers the rest.
