macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) · Windows 10 or later · 14-day free trial, every feature included

Affidavi is launching soon. The download links for macOS and Windows will appear on this page on launch day. Email licence@affidavi.ca and we will let you know the moment it is available.

What you will download

Both are the same application with the same features. Every plan includes use on more than one computer, so a Mac at the office and a Windows laptop at home can share one licence.

System requirements

macOSApple Silicon or Intel Mac WindowsWindows 10 or later, 64-bit Disk spaceAbout 600 MB — the application carries its own PDF engine InternetNot required, except once to activate the licence. Documents are never uploaded. OptionalReading scanned (image-only) pages needs Tesseract OCR installed; importing Word documents needs LibreOffice. Affidavi tells you when either is missing and works without them.

The free trial

Every feature is included in the 14-day free trial, on macOS and Windows — nothing is held back and no card is needed to start. When the trial ends, the app locks; every PDF and Word file you have already made stays where you saved it, as ordinary files in your own folders. The trial is the refund: try everything before you pay anything. The refund and renewal terms cover what happens after.

Updates

Affidavi does not poll for updates in the background. Check for a new version from Settings → About whenever you want to; nothing is downloaded until you ask.

Security

Affidavi processes every document on your computer. It makes one kind of network call — licence activation and its periodic check-in — and that call carries a licence key and a machine identifier, never a document. See the privacy notice for the full list of what is and is not collected.

Court-ready records, built on your computer.

Sort, hyperlink, redact and file — entirely on your Mac or PC. Launching soon for macOS and Windows with a 14-day free trial.
